2nd blog Ever Written, lolz- anyone know about yawning?

Yawning is fascinating
Besides all those weird things that people say about how a million devils go in ur mouth or how the devil sucks out ur soul if you don't cover your mouth and other things like that...

I always wondered, Why do people yawn when they see other people yawn (including me)
Well its because Your body is subconsciously empathising with that other person's tiredness- how weird is that
you don't even know them, and you feel bad for them- so you yawn! lolz

And another thing, you don't just yawn to show that you're tired
It's your body's way of tryna make you wake up, like, refreshing you i guess ( although that doesn't work for me, i still feel sleepy even after i yawn)

Oh and if anything i've said is wrong, please do correct me and i apologise, i only know from what i read and hear, lolz

P.s could anyone tell me about the real stuff to do with yawning and what's superstition? i've sort of researched it but wherever i looked, if it wasn't too complicated or boring, it said different things- Help?

Ciao x

Just earched gogle and found 4 (well, really two as the latter three seem to be the same one...) ahadith from Sahih Muslim on this.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The yawning as from the devil. So when one of you yawns he should try to restrain it as far as it lies in his power. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7129)

The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When one of you yawns, he should keep his mouth shut with the help of his hand, for it is the devil that enters therein. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7130)

The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When one of you yawns, he should try to restrain it with cue help of his hand since it is the Satan that enters therein. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7131)

The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said. When one of you yawns while engaged in prayer, he should try to restrain so far as it lies in his power, since it is the Satan that enter therein. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7132)

As for the psychology, you mentioned that. It is considered bad manners, but most of the myths I would assume are just that - myths.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

That's not true!

When you yawn it is because your stomach releases certain chemicals. When these chemicals come out your mouth other people breath them in and that's why they yawn.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

You're jokin! wow, you've made me look really thick...
Ewww, i breathe in other people's chemicals from their stomachs? That's gross... beyond belief- from now on, i'm definitely leaving the room whenever i think i see someone looking like theyre gonna yawn... lolz

So i gather from that... that really
yawning's bad right? Why's the Satan always "entering therein" anyway- what's he wanna do down your throat exactly? Do you get posessed, like, if you yawn and don't cover your mouth?

And i'm gutted about the first quote, i hate restraining yawns more than i hate yawning...

Btw, do you yawn, when you're talking about yawning? I do... it's weird, lolz

sometimes I breath when I'm talking about breathing.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

Lolz what do you mean- like you breathe deeply when you're talking about breathing?
i've found when i'm talking about breahing/respiration i become more aware of myself- is that what you mean?

So the yawning thing doesn't apply to you?
